Since having my braces off, my Rouge Dior lipstick has been getting some much needed attention. And wow! What an amazing lipstick! At Christmas I was very pleased to receive my No.1 most wanted item (next to Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet perfume!), a Rouge Dior lipstick in 683 Esquisse. The lipstick is specially formulated to give our lips 'voluptuous care', which is something I always look for in a lipstick. With lips that dry out in the hour, and need constant re-application of lip balm, I found my lips feeling hydrated for hours while wearing this lipstick.
Rouge Dior feels lovely and balmy on, without feeling either sticky or drying, and it goes on very smoothly. It's strong in colour and stays on for around 4 hours before it needs topping up, even with eating and drinking it hardly fades.
This range of lipstick has an extensive choice of colours, every shade of nude, pink, red, brown and purple has been included in this collection, so I'm very tempted to indulge in another (Although choosing only one other colour may prove difficult). If you head to Dior's website you can compare shades next to eachother, which is very handy when you can't head into a store every two minutes when you can't make your mind up. Although the shades aren't totally accurate, my Esquisse looks like it's pink, whereas the picture above is more accurate.
At £26 it's quite pricey, but believe me, it's an investment worth making. It feels great, looks great, and stays on for ages! Oh, and did I mention how beautiful the tube is?

When you're single and you know Valentine's day is coming up, it feels a little depressing knowing you won't be getting any of these luxurious treats that are piled high in the shops.
But who says you have to be in a relationship to enjoy them? I think it's perfectly okay to buy yourself a treat.. and with post-Valentine's sales who wouldn't?
My favourite brand of indulgent chocolates is hotel chocolat, so when I saw the usually £18 Valentines goody bag at less than 50% off, I rushed for the tills!
These bargains will disappear quickly, so head to the shops before it's too late- I got my chocolates from the stall in John Lewis, there were plenty of other Valentines things for sale too.
