The biggest trend this Spring is undoubtedly denim. There's double denim, 70's denim, soft/chic denim, light denim, dark denim, feminine denim, masculine denim and some denim in between. So all that's left to know is which style is best for you. Using Topshop's new season clothes, I've compiled three different denim looks to inspire your wardrobe this Spring: A full on 70's inspired look, complete with tan suede and fringing; a cute modernised version of 70's denim trends with the gladiator sandal, seen at countless SS15 designer catwalks; and a pretty and soft double denim look, toned down with a white shirt and feminine court shoes (and don't forget this season's metallics!)

I was extremely excited to be heading off to London for ELLE's London fashion weekend. Based at Somerset house, where many designers had their SS15 shows this last week during London fashion week, I sat eagerly awaiting the Trend catwalk, which would soon be influencing what I would be wearing this season. The catwalk was hosted by theoutnet.com, displaying designers such as Iris & ink, Alexander Wang, Oscar de la renta, Lanvin and Balmain. The main trends this season? Hyper florals, Shimmer & Shine, Make it Monochrome and That Seventies show. For how to wear them with high street clothes, keep reading!

As always, florals arrive again in the spring season, and this year they are larger and more vibrant than ever. You'll see them on everything from ankle-grazing dresses to mix-match separates, thanks to the pops of colour and oversized botanical blooms at Marni, Christopher Kane and Peter Pilotto.

The idea is 'blink and you'll miss them sparkles', teamed with shiny metals in silver or pastel. Metallics are like you've never seen them before, with a subtle and shiny elegance that brings them up-to-date with a feminine twist.

Monochrome will never date, this season Alexander Wang and Phillip Lim went for full monochrome, with bold prints and large stripes. For full impact, go head-to-toe monochrome, including the accessories!

The seventies are back! This time with a softer and more refined edge - with lace, crochet and lots of suede, your childhood favourites have returned with a newfound elegance.

New York Winter Style
I thought with all the new SS15 catwalks showing skimpy summer clothes, we were due a reality check. It's not warm enough for that yet! Not in England anyway.
Last week I went to New York (Post about that coming up tomorrow!), and it was beyond freezing. When it's 'wear all the clothes you own' kind of cold, let's make them fashionable clothes. I had a browse on net-a-porter.com and Selfridges.com and chose my favourite winter items that should hopefully go together. They are a little pricey, which is why the only thing on here I own is the coat - which I now swear by in blustery winter temperatures. I'm also planning to buy the lipstick, new Coco Chanel 'Rouge Coco Hydrating Crème' when I get my braces off in March, to highlight my new straight teeth!
I'm new to blogging so please let me know what you think! Also please share my posts ;) x
